Parents

Aspire programs support the health of your students. We are aware of the conflicting messages our youth receive from the media, friends, family and outside influences. We are passionate about providing relevant and useful information that supports parents and their relationships with their teens.

Aspire’s programs utilize The Center for Relationship Education’s REAL Essentials  curricula suite. REAL Essentials is designed to help educators deliver life-changing relationship skills training in classrooms everywhere. Its proven-effective methods set students on a path to achieve their dreams and experience successful lives.

Primary curriculum themes:

  • Learning about yourself and others
  • Navigating differences
  • Skills for communication and decision making
  • Healthy friendship development
  • Friendship, dating, and love
  • Understanding cultural influences
  • Planning for the future
  • Commitment
  • Leadership and job readiness
  • Sexual health

Aspire also covers components on Teen Dating Violence, Emotional/Mental Health, Social Media, and Boundaries.

We teach our students a holistic view of relationships and intimacy – all designed to expand understanding, inspire confidence and communicate principles that are designed to help students avoid risk.

We are so excited for your student to go through our classroom program! Ensure your high school student enrolls in the Hope class at their school to receive Aspire classroom programming. We encourage you to provide space for your student to reflect and process with you what they are learning in our program. You might even learn a thing or two from your student!
